Unfortunately our live event with Steven Veerapen could not go ahead this evening. Our regulars will know we have had issues the last two events with the stream glitching but this was a completely different issue!

To circumvent the possibility of glitching we had arranged for Bec to join the stream once we were already live, as suggested by online support. We have previously had no issues in the preview room but this evening Steven could not access the stream at all. We tried a few things but ended up with Steven locked out of his account.

We did not want to keep people waiting so sadly made the decision to rearrange. We did wonder if Bec and I, or even just me on my own should go live and do an adhoc ask me anything event, so now we have a question for you all.

To clarify, even if we went live and did an adhoc event we would still rearrange with the guest. Please use the poll. As much as we hope to have no further issues, we can’t guarantee it, so this feedback will help us plan in the event of any future events where technology is NOT our friend! If you have an alternative suggestion please let us know!

Thank you so much to everyone who waited patiently this evening. I’m sure you will all join us in congratulating Steven, even if he couldn’t chat with us tonight. We will certainly rearrange and will keep all of your questions for next time, so keep an eye out for that!
